What is Zanzibar on the Waterfront? Washington DC’s premier international entertainment complex; a three-story, 26,000 sq. ft. building comfortably accommodating 1,700 people.

Where is Zanzibar? Zanzibar’s address is 700 Water Street, S.W., Washington, D.C., directly in front of the Southwest Waterfront Marina. It is beside the Channel Inn Hotel and many other hotels are close by, including the Mandarin, Loews ’Enfant Plaza and the newly-renovated Capitol Skyline. Arena Stage, and the Odyssey and Spirit of Washington cruise lines are just blocks away. National Airport is five minutes from our location.

What is the dress code? Modern, urban, and chic.  No sneakers, boots, hats, or athletic wear.

Closest Metro? The L’Enfant Plaza and Waterfront Metro subway stops are within walking distance

Parking? There is metered street parking (free after 6:30 p.m). We offer valet parking, a parking lot across the street and an underground parking garage.

Hours of Operation? Sundays: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays: Closed, except for private events, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5 p.m. until 2 a.m.; Fridays, 5 p.m. until 3 a.m.; Saturdays, 9 p.m. until 3 a.m.

Admission Fee? Our cover charge is normally $20.00 if you do not have a pass or VIP Membership Card, and there is always our GUEST LIST (NOTE: Fee is subject to change.) The admission fee is higher for special events such as live shows or celebrity galas.
